Memories

I am very sad to hear of Bobbie King’s passing. There aren’t enough words in the English language to express how sad I feel. I knew her when I was a child. Ann-Marie and I were childhood friends. Bobbie was always kind and friendly. She was a wonderful person. She always went out of her way to make others feel welcomed. My family and I will miss her dearly. My thoughts and prayers are with Ann-Marie and her family.

Memories

Hi this is Bobbies birthday present sister. I was born June 26-1942. The year I was born Bobbie received a plaid skirt, ball and me. Boy was she lucky. Bobbie and I would meet my older sister in Fla. and we would go to Seaworld or Disney World and visit about a week which she really enjoyed doing. We also took in the Al Capone Theater which was dinner and a show. Those were some of her entertainment enjoyments. Bobbie will be sadly missed.

Memories

The best time in our memory with Bobbie was the summer we went to the Wisconsin Dells. Bobbie enjoyed watching us on the rides and having fun. She enjoyed going on the jet boat. Bobbie always enjoyed spending time with her brother and sister. That was the year with Tim and Jean, the two younger of her family. Bobbie was always up for something new and different, and the jet boat ride was just that. She got wet and cold, but had a smile on her face. This will be our best memory of time spent with Bobbie, our sister. The visit we had with her, before her passing, was the weekend of Valentine's Day. It was so very nice to see her up, and looking like she always does, happy to see us. She spoke of the items she was given by family and friends. Bobbie spoke of getting candy and stuff for Valentine's day, which I pointed out, of course, she was not allowed to have, she quickly then gave the candy to Jean. And Jean quickly accepted with a laugh. She also had a Kit Kat bar sitting there, when I told Bobbie she was not allowed that, she quickly hid it from me and smiled. She was not giving that up. We talked about another trip to the Wisconsin Dells, and she said that she would love that. So now when we go to the Dells, she will be in our thoughts with a smile, knowing that she will be with us in spirit, having fun with us. Our visit was something we will always have, smiling and laughing with Bobbie, on how Jean had told her at 52 she was going to have a baby. Bobbie we love and miss you, and we are blessed to have had you in our lives, we were the lucky ones. See you again. Written by Tina Manning, Tim's wife

Memories

I also worked at the Regional Center for over 20 years and have many memories of Bobbie's vibrant and happy personality, she was great with the residents and they responded to her outgoing personality. I visited with Bobbie at St Lucas last summer while back in Mn. for a visit, she remained very positive and spoke of her daughter and grandchildren with so much love. You may not remember me you were just a baby we lived 2 houses over in Evergreen Estates in the 70's. Your mother was a good person and I know she will be missed by you and your family. Anna Marie you are in my thoughts and prayers. Kathleen Stadler Dewey Az.
