Memories

Anton, Charles, Alice, Anna, Your Mom and our Auntie Doris was the most beautiful special lady that was loved by so many people. She will be in our thoughts and memory forever. You all were truly blessed to have her for your Mom and truly blessed to have her lead such a long and wonderful life. Now her and Uncle George are looking down on all of us smiling and so happy. We'll always cherish all the trips to the farm and then even when she was not on the farm. We've got lots of memories and all good!! There are so many things to remember her by which all have already talked about. Just know we love you all so very much and know what you are going through when we lost our "Beloved Dad" Our prayers are with you all in this time of sorrow. Just know she is truly happy now. She even told me how ready she was to be with her maker and I said not yet and she made it a few more years. Thank goodness for that. My love to all of you always, Your cuz Barbara and Frank too,

Memories

I am so sorry to hear of Great Aunt Doris' passing. As Jennie said, she was kind of our honorary Grandma at the Mechura ( Joe and Marie's kids) reunions. Every time I saw her at family gathering of some type I would always comment to her on how pretty she looked. She always had her hair done nicely and a nice outfit on and she just always looked like a million bucks. She was very sweet and we can only hope to live the busy active life she lived- helping others, visiting people, making scrubbies ( which I have and use today) and bowling well into her 80's. She will be missed. I hope your memories will comfort you during this difficult time.

Dearest cousins, Know that we are with you in mourning this wonderful lady. I know it will be hard for a while and our prayers are with you. Can't you just picture that wonderful fishing party in heaven, now that they are all together again. Or maybe they just found a dance hall near a lake. The memories are so grand and I thank our Heavenly Father that your mom was a big part of my life. Love, Katherine and Dave

Memories

Alice, we were saddened to see that Doris had passed away. She was so sweet to everyone and I'll never forget the little smile she always carried on her face. I know you will miss going by to pick her up for church on Sundays. I have fond memories of looking out in the congregation on the Sundays that I played and seeing you, Allan and Doris sitting together. She was very lucky to have you for a daughter and Allan for a son-in-law. Wish we could be there but we will be thinking about you and your family.

Memories

Tony, Charles, Alice & Anna, My heartfelt condolences to all of you and your families. Great Aunt Doris will be missed. She had this twinkle in her eyes that made me smile every time I saw her. We will always cherish the beautiful white blanket she crocheted for my daughter April. She was the honorary Grandma at the annual Joe & Marie Mechura family reunion for several years. She would bring sugar wafer cookies & loved to hold Mom & Dad’s dog Katie. A few years back (well maybe ten - time flies) we were visiting at Mom & Dad’s (Joe & Sharon’s) and she showed us her driver’s license collection. She asked us if we noticed anything. On closer inspection we noticed she wore the sane blouse in each one! She had intentionally wore the same blouse each time she renewed her license for decades. She was truly one of a kind - such a neat lady! Take Care, Jennie aka Punzina Wilhelmina
