Memories

Dear Karen; I am so sorry I was unable to make it for the funeral. I tried to make some last minute arrangements to be there but could not. I am very glad to know I was able to get to visit with your mom, my godmother, on several occasions in recent years. She always had such kind words to share and maintained a great attitude, even when she was realizing her declining health situation. She set a wonderful example. I always enjoyed stopping at Stanglers Meat Market years ago where she worked at the time. She always had great things to talk about. Marvin Bottke Bedford, Tx.

Memories

Dear Karen, I am so sorry that you lost your Mom! Mae was a great lady and I know she will be so missed by family and friends. I have so many terrific memories of your Mom during all these years we've been friends, fishing, 4th of July at the church, eating pig brains, the attack cardinal, "Elvira", all the way to this summer, stuffing our faces at the Steele Co. Fair! You were a good daughter to her and gave her the best care. May she rest in peace! Love, Dawn

Memories

Dear Karen and Family, Ralph and I attend the funeral service for Mae and it was all very touching. Because of previous committments, we were unable to personally present our condolences. During the service a flood of memories filtered past of our growing up and the bonds that the neighborhood had during that all to brief time. Getting the daily ride to Trinity School and later Sy Carlson picking us up with the bus on the way to high school. Walter, Mae, Kenneth and you were great neighbors and friends. As we all grow older, the torch is being passed to our generation and things continue to change. Ralph is struggling with alzheimers and so now lives in Faribault with a long time friend of his. I have decided that the old family house should be saved and so that is undergoing extensive remodeling. Well, I wish you and your family the best. Roland and Ralph
