she was my neighbor in waldport. when i moved there, she introduced herself as: hi, i'm noreen, your nosy neighbor". she was sweet. she looked after my house while i was gone, brought over soup bones for my dog, and she shared the vegetables from her little garden. she adored her cats, and had names for her chickens. she was a fun neighbor. she knew everybody and we loved gossiping together. i will miss her. katy.
Noreen was a wonderfull person and a great friend. We met here in Oregon only to realize we had attended Mankato State University together and had many things in common.
Noreen has been a "part" of our family for years and years. She and brother, Bob, were an item. We loved her right away, and when she moved to Oregon she kept in touch with my mother-in-law, and when she didn't hear from Noreen at Christmas time, she started to worry cause Noreen had told her last Christmas that the cancer was back. My niece, Kelly, found Noreen back living in Faribault on the computer. We were so glad, and I am so glad that Magaret, Bob's mom, and Peggy, Bob's sister, and me, Sharon the sister-in-law made the trip down to see her. Bless you, Kay, for the loving care you gave her, and it was nice to get to know you some too through that visit and my follow up phone calls. Her pain is gone and she is rejoicing in heaven and we will all be together again some day. Remembering you all in my thoughts and prayers. Sharon Chastek (Bob's favorite sister-in-law, he alwasy said that, course I was his only one. HAHA)
