          Delores M. (Mrs. Paul) Kolling, age 89 of Faribault died on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at St. Lucas Care Center, Faribault.

          Funeral services will be held at St. Lukeís Church, Faribault on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. with the Reverend Randy Hardy officiating.  Interment will be in St. Johnís Cemetery, Wheeling Township, Rice County, MN.

          Visitation will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Monday, June 23 from 4 to 7 p.m. and also at church for one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.

          Delores Marie, the daughter of William and Blanch (Shaffer) Smith was born October 17, 1918 in Marengo, Iowa.  She attended Immaculate Conception Catholic School in Faribault.  On September 4, 1937 she was united in marriage to Paul F. Kolling at St. Johnís Church in Wheeling Township.  For many years they made their home in Nerstrand, Cedar Lake and later Faribault.  She worked for Sears in Faribault for 20 years until her retirement.

          She is survived by her husband, Paul; two children, Sharon (and Bruce) Swanson of Pine Island and Thomas Kolling of Minneapolis; one daughter in law, Jean Kolling of Gilbert, AZ; nine grandchildren, Jerry (and Shelly) Kolling, James (and Sheila) Kolling, Jeffrey Kolling, Joel (and Ruth) Kolling, Wendy (and Bruce) Koenen, Kim (and Jon) Sanborn, Brent (and Jan) Swanson, Brian Swanson and Nina (and Steve) McKee; 19 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

          She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Michael Kolling; a sister, Mary Strandemo; a brother, Raymond Smith; brothers and sisters in law; aunts and uncles; nieces, nephews and friends.

To the family, You have my deepest sympathy. Delores was always such a kind and generous person to Nina and me. I will miss her deeply. Paul, you are in my prayers. The lord has freed Delores of her pain and taken her home where she is whole again. Love, Linda Bilsky
