Richard R. Craig, age 71, of Faribault, died on Sunday, December 2, 2007 at his home.
     Services will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Thursday, December 6, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend Craig Breimhorst, chaplain of Faribault Area Hospice, officiating. Interment will be in the Maple Lawn Cemetery, Faribault.
Visitation will be held in the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 from 4 to 7 p.m. and also for one hour prior to the services on Thursday.
     Richard Roy, the son of Frank and Helen (Morse) Craig was born on March 3, 1936 in the St. Lucas Hospital, Faribault. He graduated from the Faribault Senior High School in 1954. He married Jeanette Ann Nordmeier on October 6, 1956. He was employed as a lather with Local Union #190 until his retirement in 1995.
     He is survived by his wife, Jeanette, three children, Carla Craig (and Jim Ennis) and Rick Craig (and Julie Orara) all of Faribault and  Tracee Johnson of Sherburn; four grandchildren, Eric (and Kara) Craig of St. Paul, Sarah Craig of Minneapolis, Makaila and Jacob Johnson of Sherburn; four siblings, Caroline (and Fran) Uhlir, Sonny (and Marie) Craig, Pat (and Rollie) Helgeson all of Faribault, Ed (and Lorraine) Craig of Plymouth; one sister in law, Audrey Craig of Faribault; two brothers in law, Allan Morrow and Martin Mortenson both of Faribault; nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends.
     He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother Harvey Craig; two sisters, Ethel “Babe” Mortenson and Marjorie “Mick” Morrow.
     In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be directed to Faribault Area Hospice or donor’s choice.
