Memories

Memories of David.... the night I found out David didn't have night vision while driving will stay with me forever! We were going from Madison Lake to Faribault and we almost drove into Lake Elysian... it was then that he informed me that he was following the tail lights of the car in front of him... so if that car went towards the ditch so did we. Later in life, he gave my son a heart to heart "pep talk"... (I'm still not sure if this was a good thing or not-LOL) He always saw the good in life... he was always there for the family. He will me missed dearly but NOT forgotten!

We are very sad to see David go, we will miss him dearly. I have so many found memories of David and his family. All the laughs and tears we have shared. The last time we seen David and Maggie, we went out to eat and then to the Neil Diamond show in the Twin City's. We had a great time, Randy and I, Mom and Dad, David and Maggie and the girls. Our hearts are with you and the rest of the family. Love ya!

Memories

There are so many wonderful memories I have of my brother David. When we were young We would play house with my stuffed animals when we should have been going to bed and mom would yell at us and we would just giggle and continue on. He would poke his finger in my sandwiches just for fun for him and irritate me. When we had to do dishes I would wash and he would dry but he always threw the dishes back in the water and said they were dirty and laugh so I would poke him with the siver ware. He loved to stand outside on the porch and make faces at me through the window when I got stuck doing the dishes. We would walk to school together and hop trains to school. While in our teens he treated me to the State Fair with the money he earned from his job, fun day. He wrote me all the time when he was in the Service, I was so excited when his letters came. After he got out of the service he stayed with us and we would sit up and play Yatzee for hours. He would call me late at night just to talk about life and our kids. We laughed so hard at times we cried. When our kids were young, he and Maggie would come to the cities for the Weekend and stay at my place-lots of fun times. Singing at the bon fires and at moms house. He always knew how to make me laugh. I will never forget his beautiful blue eyes and smile. He was a sensitve and caring man. He was so proud of his roses. He certainly loved life and his family. So many wonderfull memories you have left us with. You will always be in my heart. My love to you David---always and forever. I will miss you and miss hearing your voice, especially when you call me and say is the wou, wou or "It's movie day".

I will always remember laughing when David and Don would do hand stands and walk on their hands to entertain all of the kids at the Family Reunions. So many pictures I have of David in my mind involved laughter. I will never forget when he offerred to have a "talk" to my ex-husband for me. You will be missed and never forgotten!

Memories

To Daves's Family, Pam and I had the privilage of being your next door neighbors and friends for many years. We watched all of you children grow up from infants. I was so sorry to hear from Virginia about Dave's illness. I wish I could have talked old times with him before he died. The things I remember the best are the tennis we played on Saturday mornings during the summer at Wapikuta Park and the barbecues we enjoyed together. I will miss Dave deeply. May God be with you, his family, in this time of sorrow.

Memories

Our family is like the branches of a tree. We may grow in different directions, yet our roots remain as one. Each of us will always be a part of the other. I will always remember that time at Rockys when they were doing karaoke & David stood up & sang "MY WAY". It was absolutely beautiful!! In death as in life, he did it his way. When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure! We will always love & miss you! Autie Cheryl

Memories

My sincere condolences to each of you. It has been quite a while since seeing your parents in person, but I have always had fond memories of the times we spent with them in Stoddard. Such a fun loving couple, your parents always seemed to enjoy being together. Your dad had a really good heart and was full of stories to entertain. His love for all of you always showed and he was definitely proud of his family. As you enter the next chapter of your lives, may the memories of your dad bring many smiles to your faces and give you happy moments to cherish. Love, Beth
