Memories

I was one of many who cared for Stella at Alterra Sterling House in Faribault. Stella loved to listen to her TV news, and she had a wonderful sense of humor. She was very proud to be a WWII Veteran, and proudly displayed many flags in her room. She was a delight to visit, and know. Stella enjoyed visits by staff and friends. I'll miss bringing her her glass of OJ in the middle of the night, when her throat was dry, and sitting and talking with her. She loved hugs. That was my daily thing with Stella to give her a hug, and I got the biggest smile each time. Stella was a beautiful person, and I loved her dearly. She will be missed, but fondly remembered. God Bless You Stella!
