Coach Simonson Family, My sincerest sympathy to the Simonson Family. As a student/athlete at Wheaton High School, during Coach Simonson's tenure in the late 1950's, I felt priveleged and honored to have Coach Simonson as my mentor. Dennis Bemis

Memories

Mr. Simonson was my Algebra, Trig and Swimming Teacher in Wheaton. I was also a student manager for his basketball team. I have a lot of great memories from his classrooms and the athletic department. I always enjoyed visiting with him when he came to the "All Class Reunions" in Wheaton. He was a good influence during our formative years.

I am very sorry to hear that Wally (Mr.Simonson) passed away. He was my geometry teacher at FSHS, and would see him often in the years after. Jean and I worked together at FRC also. My thoughts and prayers are with you. David Fiebiger
