   Lloyd E. Tripp, age 95, of Faribault, died peacefully on Sunday,
September 16, 2007 at Pleasant Manor Nursing Home, Faribault.
   Services will be held at Fourth Avenue United Methodist Church,
Faribault on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend
George Toschak, officiating.   Interment will be in Meadow Ridge Memorial
Park, Faribault.
   Visitation will be at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Tuesday,
September 18 from 4 to 7 p.m. and at the church for one hour prior to the
service on Wednesday.
   Lloyd Earl, the son of Warren and Pauline (Valine) Tripp was born on
July 25, 1912 at their farm near Northfield.  He attended Sunnyside School
District 28 right next to their farm home and Northfield High School.  He
married Eula Hamann on July 25, 1939, his 27th birthday, at the Methodist
Church in Northfield.  Lloyd grew up on a farm and lived on one all his life
milking cows by hand when he was only five and later with an updated milking
parlor along with his son.  He farmed with horse drawn machinery, tractors
and self propelled machinery always taking the best care of everything. He
worked for neighbors, St. James School and near Owatonna.  He was treasurer
of School District 72 for many years.  He was a man of his word, quiet with
a dry sense of humor.  His favorite pastime was fishing.
   He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Eula of Faribault; three
children, Willard (and Carmen) Tripp of Faribault, Dr. Warren (and Aili)
Tripp of Madison, WI and Carolyn Jean Vink of Brooklyn Park; eight
grandchildren, Heidi (and Troy) Mangan of Plymouth, Tracy (and Greg) Prieve
of Princeton, Joshua Vink of Brooklyn Park, Tiffany Tripp (German Lopez
Grimon) of St Louis Park, Tara (and Jason) Langevin of Faribault, Tamara
Tripp (Demetrios Papas) of Brooklyn, NY, Leila Tripp and Lloyd Max Tripp of
Madison, WI; six great grandchildren , Riley and Gillian   Mangan, Dillan
and Brooke Prieve and Marshall and Teagan  Langevin; sisters in law, Mary Jane Goertz, Harriet
Hamann and Elva Tripp.
   He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant daughter; two
sisters, Grace Gernandt and Eileen Fink and four brothers. Glen, Leon, Wayne
and Vernon.

Memories

Uncle Lloyd will be greatly missed. During summers spent with him and Aunt Eula, he always managed to teach something new. Usually about farming, either crops or cows. He was quiet but very well loved.
