James Heagle, age 76 died on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at the Minnesota Veterans Home, Fergus Falls.

Memorial services will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Monday, May 10, 2010 at 10 a.m. with the Reverend Ron Wilson, pastor of the Associated Church, Owatonna officiating. Interment will be in the Steele Center Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service on Monday.

James Arthur, the son of Gerald and Henrietta (Frasl) Heagle, was born July 16, 1933 in Cadott, WI. He graduated from Cadott High School in 1951. He married Phyllis Mollenhauer on April 6, 1963 in the Associated Church, Owatonna and she preceded him in death on December 1, 2008. Jim was previously employed by Owatonna Meat and Bread; he owned Heagleís Grocery, Owatonna and the Stewart Meat Market. Later, he and Phyllis owned and operated Arlington Board and Lodging and Green Isle Board and Lodging for the elderly. He retired from Young America Corp., Young America. He was a member of the American Legion in Owatonna and the Lionís Club in Green Isle.

He is survived by four sons, Randy (and Sherrie) Heagle of Burnsville, Jim Heagle of Green Isle, Troy Heagle of Randall and Jason Heagle (and special friend, Melissa Hieronimus) of Arlington; one daughter, Doreen Garfunkel of Mankato; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren, a sister Sandy Johnson of New Auburn, WI and a brother Pat Heagle of Chippewa Falls, WI.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Phyllis.
