Mary Louise (Mrs. Norman) Taylor, age 77, of Faribault, died on Sunday, June 27, 2010 at Pleasant Manor Nursing Home, Faribault.

A memorial service will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at 10:30 a.m.

A memorial visitation will be at the Boldt Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 30th from 4 to 7 p.m. and also on Thursday for one hour prior to the service.

Mary Louise, the daughter of Peter and Edna (Lidgerding) Opem, was born on February 15, 1933 in Red Wing. She married Norman Taylor on December 26, 1957 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Faribault. Mary graduated from St. Lucas Nursing School and was employed by District One Hospital for 33 years as a Registered Nurse. She was also a member of Fourth Avenue United Methodist Church, Faribault.

She is survived by her husband, Norman; four children, Linda Taylor of Faribault, Brian (and Bonnie Penman) Taylor of Faribault; John (and Heidi) Taylor of Red Wing and Marc (and Laureen) Taylor of Faribault; and by four grandchildren, Angela Taylor, Christine Taylor, Linsey Taylor and Mitchel Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Marge Reding; and two brothers, Martin Opem and Ernie Krahn.
