Memories

Carole and family, I just found out about Jerry only minutes ago from Nancee. I am so sorry. I have alot of memories from when we were kids and being at Nellie's house. It was a great time and it made me feel like such a part of the family. Jerry remembered and had to remind me at my wedding of the time that we all had these huge suckers (I think from Katie) and I dropped mine while we were in the Piggly Wiggly. None of those boys would help me pick it up! We used to go down to the railroad tracks and I also remember when Marty would play guitar for all of us. I remember his smile and how much fun he was. He has a lot of family members to welcome him into heaven and I would bet there will be lots of stories and laughter. I miss so much of those times. Again, I am so sorry. Please take care. Beth

Memories

Darth Vader. That is the first of many memories that comes to mind. He was a character and always fun to be around. Black, he loved black. He was his own person and loved Hollywood. I'm so glad he made it there and hope he was happy. You will be greatly missed. Looking at our Sr. yearbk, there he is at prom with a tophat and white gloves - he conformed to nonconformity, he loved to be just a little different. He loved to put a twist on things. I had forgotten what a wonderful Captain Hook he was. Sometimes I felt Michael J. picked plays to fit the actors that were available to him.... Jerry was an awesome Captain Hook (you were right on Robin) So many memories, so little time. His artistic talent, his yearbook signatures read like a mural, sunken graveyards..oh how I'd forgotten. I hope you look down on us and smile. You will truely be missed!

Memories

I will always carry memories of Jerry in my heart as the Captain Hook to my Wendy, the artistic storyteller who saved me from my own ineptitude in German class, and the tall, dark, handsome young spirit who cared more about the feelings of others than his own. You were too good for Hollywood, anyway and Lord knows He needs your help up there.

Memories

Jerry was a free spirited young man. I remember visiting back home one year and here comes Jerry with purple hair, another time he had earrings and yet another time his hair was spiked. He had a fascination with Hollywood and kept going back there. He also, seemed to have particular causes. One I remember was how he fiercely defended the American Indians. What a proud race they were and how the white people took away their land. You could ask Jerry for any favor and he would do it for you. He even came and gave me a ride to my 25th class reunion. He was good about writing thank you notes and I always enjoyed receiving them. Jerry, you will be missed.

Memories

I will never forget when I was first getting to know Jerry about 20 years ago. He came to my house and sat down in front of the stereo with my one year old (at the time) son, and was teaching him all about my cd collection. He had his long hair and skin tight animal print pants on (I have a wonderful picture of this scene) I was so impressed at how he took the time out for my son. We became good friends, I last saw him at Chris Delesha's wedding, he was so handsome that day, short hair and a SUIT !! no matter how he wore his hair or what he wore for clothes, he was a wonderful friend and person whom will be deeply missed. My prayers go out to Dan and Donna and the entire family. xoxo

Memories

I was so sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. He was a good friend in high school--I only saw him a few times after graduation. He was so talented, funny, and kind; and he could make people laugh like no one else. I've always treasured the elaborate page of art work he created in my year book and thinking about him has always brought a smile. My thoughts and prayers will be with Jerry's loved-ones.

Jeannie and I were so sorry to hear about Jerry's passing. We got to know Jerry when we were active at VFW Post 1562 in Faribault. Jerry was always helping out at Post 1562. He always said that it was the least he could do for our Veterans! He was always a gentleman and he never had a bad thing to say about anyone. He will be greatly missed. We know he is in a better place now.RIP Jerry.

Memories

So very sorry to hear about Jerry's passing. He was a very talented, funny, interesting, and intelligent man. I am sorry to think that I have only seen him three times since we graduated from high school. Jerry had a marvelously sardonic and irreverent sense of humor, and the laughs he could deliver will be forever missed.
