Dear Shirley, Mike and Gerry--Joe and I were so sorry to read of Dick's passing. It was always good times having you and Dick at the folks house, Dick picking Mom up for church and I enjoyed being your flower girl at your wedding! I also enjoyed having Gerry as ring bearer at my wedding. Dick always had good advice for me when purchasing a car. We will miss him. You have our heartfelt sympathy and love. Dear Shirley, Mike and Gerry and families. Thanks, Gerry for calling to let us know. Dick will be so very missed. He was Dad's favorite. I remember when he and Lavern were up for a wedding, and we were taking Pat home and we were singing "You can't get to heaven on roller skates" in the car on the way. Well, Dick is there now - and he didn't have to Skate his way in. He lived life well. Shirely, I pray you'll feel the loving arms of God wrapped around you - giving you His peace. We send our love - to all of you. Mike and Suzy Bender

Shirley, Mike and Gerry, We were so sorry to hear about Dick. He was a great guy. Alan will never foget the time he and I stayed with you when we drove up from Ill. for Dar's wedding. It was in Nov and very cold. I was to share your bed and Dick and Alan were going to sleep up in the boy's room in the attic. When Dick opened the attic door and that blast of artic air came down, Alan just about fell on the floor and Dick laughed his head off. Thankfully the boy's room was nice and warm. We had such a great time with him when we came up to Mn several years ago so I could do some genealogy research and Dick went with us out to the old chuch and cemetary, he told us a lot of stories about living on the farm with Grandpa and Grandma Achilles. We laughed so much and I'll always be greatful for having the chance to hear those stories. May you feel the Peace as God surrounds you with his Love. We send our deepest sympathy to all of you, Love and Blessings, Cousn Jeannine (Achilles) and Alan Cronau

I'm was sorry to hear about Dick's passing, Shirley, Mike, and Gerry, please know you will all be in our prayers. I remember going over to your house and seeing the train set down the basement, I know Janet and I thought that was really something and playing with Mike and Gerry's toys(trucks and things like that) we only had dolls and girls toys. Also Dick taking us for a ride out to the country to see where Grandpa's and Grandma's house had been and taking us around the area. I pray God gives you peace at this time, my deepest sympathy to all of you. God be with you, John and Joy McConaghy
