Memories

I will always have great memories of Uncle Rich. He was also my Godfather. I will remember his booming voice, his sent, and his smile. The thing I will remember the most was how we had an ongoing tickle war. Whenever we saw eachother we would try to sneak up on the other and tickle them, the only thing off limit were his knees. When I picture Rich I picture him by the lake cleaning out is fish that he caught for supper. That is how I will remember him, at peace by the lake. My thoughts and prayers are with you today as you say goodbye. Kim (Johnson) Stevermer

Memories

Rich was married to my aunt, Gail, for many years and was my sister's God father. I have a lot of fun memories of Uncle Rich from when I was young. He used to take us fishing on Lake Matthews and liked to tease us. He really liked the mistletoe at Christmas! I am keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers during this time.

Memories

Dear Purfeerst family - As a 1957 Trinity classmate and sweetie, current friend and 1961 high school classmate, I think I can speak for many that Dick was definitely one of the good guys. I really wish he would have come to our 50th class reunion. We would have all enjoyed reconnecting so much. The news of his death is personal. I spoke with him meaningfully at our 45th reunion. May the Lord grant his warmth and strength to your sorrow. I know He will to mine. Blessings - Sandy
