Alice M. Siskoff, age 82 of Lakeville, died on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at her daughter’s home.
Services will held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Friday, April 13, 2012 at 6 p.m. with Bernadette Tatge, pastoral minister for Divine Mercy Catholic Church officiating. Interment will be held at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, New Prague.
Visitation will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Friday from 4 to 6 p.m.
Alice May, the daughter of John "Jack" and Albina (Preslicka) Schanus, was born June 25, 1929 in New Prague. Alice attended St. Wencelaus School in New Prague and graduated from New Prague High School. She married George Siskoff on April 14, 1951 in Onamia, MN. She was a dental assistant for several dentists in New Prague and later an administrative assistant for Harvester of New Prague. They moved to Eau Claire, WI in 1976 and later retired to Lakeville in 1990. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Alice and her husband made many trips to Alaska to spend time with their son and his family. She enjoyed reading, knitting and their many pets.
She is survived by three children, George (and Teresa) Siskoff of Wasilla, AK, Maxine (and David) Richter of Shieldsville and Lexandra Sisko of Rosemount; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Janet Aker of Orr and Irene Walsh of Farmington.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George on December 7, 2003; and two sisters, Lorraine Rutt and one in infancy.
