Memories

Dear Family & loved ones, I am Bruce's sister in-law Mary Ellen's niece and Goddaughter, Teri Calton. I was blessed to have know this man the only TWO times I needed stitches. I was so little and scared as this great big man whisked me up in his arms, from the family pool and couldn't wait to fix me up on the picnic table. I remember feeling safe in his gental voice. Don't ask me why but what are the chances we would meet one more time, when I wiped out at Molly's house. There again, he ran into action, grabbing his bag, his face was lit up, as if this was his greatest calling! And once again, there he was, he was another one of my angles. I am blessed x2, because I have 2 tiny scares marked by someone very special. Ty Dr. Bruce and my blessings to you and your family.

Memories

I will always remember Dr. Gutzmann as a gentle person who was ready to listen to his patients. He was my doctor before and through the deliveries of all three of my healthy children and after as our family doctor. I was very sad when he left his practice, but would see him occasionally in town and he always said "Hi!" Thinking of your family at this time and hoping for good memories to help you through your sorrow.

I have special memories as my Doctor first when my husband was injured and lay in the hospital he was so concerned on how I was doing along with my husband and then when I miscarried he sat and talked with me to make me understand why this could have happened, and then delivered my son a few years later. He was a wonderful person and Doctor who was truly missed when he left.

Memories

Denny and I met Bruce through Deb a few years ago. We knew a kind, gentle, soft spoken man who blessed us with his wisdom and tickled us with his humor - he warmed our hearts and was quick to become our friend! We are grateful for the times we spent together but saddened that our plans for fun times ahead are now only a shattered dream. Deb and Bruce shared a love story that many will never experience, and the memories they created together will live on in Deb forever! We send our deepest sympathy to Deb, Abbey, Brandon, and Bruce's entire family offering prayers of comfort during this difficult time. Good bye Bruce, we will miss you. Love, Dana and Denny

Memories

Bruce delivered our 4th child, Terri, in 1973. He was so calm and kind. Bob's and my first grandchild, Lynn Marie Petzke, was delivered by Bruce in 1980; I was privileged to witness her birth at Krista's side. Bruce instilled confidence in all of us. When things became precarious, he had the same calm demeanor that set the tone in the delivery room. He had certainly found his calling. His expertise is missed to this day. I pray comfort and faith to his family.
