DOROTHY L. NESHEIM
Dorothy L. (Mrs. Kenneth H.) Nesheim, age 94, of Faribault and formerly of Frost, died on June 15, 2012, at Keystone Communities of Faribault.
Services will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the First English Lutheran Church, Faribault, with the Reverend Richard L. Jorgensen, officiating. Interment will be in the United Lutheran Cemetery, Frost, Minnesota.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault and also in the church for one hour prior to the services on Thursday.
Dorothy L., the daughter of Clifford and Tillie (Lorentzen) Kittlesen was born on October 13, 1917 in Frazee, MN. She graduated from Blue Earth High School in 1935. She married Kenneth H. Nesheim on Feb. 14, 1936 in Frost. They moved to Rake, Iowa and raised their children. She was formerly employed by State Bank of Frost and was court recorder for the Chisago County Court system. In 1986, they moved to Faribault and she was active in the Grandparent Program for several years at Jefferson School. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, knitting, music with her family, writing her family history, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by one daughter, Karen (and Ron) Parker of Faribault; one son, Joe (and Jan) Nesheim of Cedar Park, Texas; three grandchildren, Scott (and Mary) Parker of Faribault, Pam (and Scott) Story of Kenyon and Shari (and Pat) Cullen of Faribault; eight great grandchildren, Brianne (and Brent) Peroutka, Jon (and Megan) Parker, Chad and Brandon Parker, Eric, Jennifer, Jackie Story, and Amanda Cullen; four great great grandchildren, Logan, Emma and Reese Peroutka, Adah Parker; two brothers, Jim (and Karen) Kittlesen of Faribault, Neil (and Bobbie) Kittlesen of Mendota Heights; two sisters, Naomi (and John) VanDomelen of Prescott, AZ and Helen (and Joe) Ramos of Riverside, CA; and one sister-in-law, Vivian Kittlesen of Cross Lake.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; her father Clifford Kittlesen, Mother Tillie, stepmother and friend, Nell Kittlesen, one great granddaughter; and two brothers, Clifford and John Kittlesen.
Memorials to First English Lutheran Church are preferred in lieu of flowers.

I will always refer to the house in Rake as Kenny and Dorothy's house! Even though I was small at the time, it was comforting to know that there was family all around, and in this case, just across the street! Dorothy was such a classy lady...I loved her high heeled shoes...she would be right in style today. Her love of family was always evident in the conversations we had...never enough of those in the last years. Thank you for including the "Quams" in your lives. Love, Louise
