Mable M. Bauer

Service: Peace Lutheran Church - Faribault
  Friday, July 12, 2013 at 10:00 a.m.
Visitation: The Boldt Funeral Home - Faribault on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m.
  and at the church on Friday for one hour prior to the service.

Mable M. Bauer, age 97, of Faribault died peacefully Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at District One Hospital in Faribault surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be at Peace Lutheran Church on Friday, July 12, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. with the Reverend Robert L. Mundahl officiating. Interment will be in Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault.

Visitation will be at the Boldt Funeral Home on Thursday, July 11, 2013 from 4 to 8 p.m. and also at the church for one hour prior to the service on Friday.

Mable M., the daughter of John and Mary Ellen (Mahagnoul) Dwyer was born on September 28, 1915. On November 23, 1932, she married Alferd O. Bauer in Shieldsville. He preceded her in death on September 21, 2005. Mable was formerly employed by Waldo Broberg Feed and Seed Company as a candler, and she also assisted her husband on the farm in the Warsaw Township area. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, embroidering and quilting.

She is survived by her four children, David (and Pat) Bauer of Faribault, Joyce (and Tom) Draper of Warsaw, Steven (and Kris) Bauer of Faribault and Jeffrey (and Julie) Bauer of Faribault; one son in law Clyde Keech of Faribault; 18 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and other relatives.

Mable was preceded in death by her husband; two daughters, Marion Bauer and Doris Chavie Keech; great grandson, Tyler Chavie; son-in-law, LaVerne Chavie; and one sister Gert (and Art) Parker.

Mable was the best! She did so much for your family and never have I known her to say a bad word about anyone. My late husband Don Schultz's mom, Edna Schultz and Mable talked everyday and I was always kept up to date on current events. Mable will be missed by many.
