My thoughts are with your family during this difficult time~ My heart is flooded with many memories of my childhood in Fenton and all the people I remember as I write this. I loved going into all of my neighbor's unique houses as a little girl! I still think back so often about all the wonderful families I had the pleasure of growing up with in a small town. I truly treasured the rocking horse Bill made me and that my children and grandchildren have all enjoyed it over the years too. Marie was always so sweet to me. May all your memories be a gift that last forever. Love and blessings, Ginger

Marie was a truly wonderful person. Always welcomed me into her home wherever they lived at. She had her hands full with the Hantelman Clan but handled it with true dignity. Her beliefs in God carried thru with the way she lived her life and treated people. I was sad when they moved away from Fenton but after all these years I fully understand why. I admire all of her children and grandchildren and will keep all of them in my thoughts and prayers. Heaven is a wonderful place. I envy her for getting to be with our Lord and Savior. Terri

How Blessed Our Family has been these last 19 years to have Aunt Marie and Uncle Bill a part of Our Family Celebrations after they moved back to Minnesota. Being with Us for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, Mothers Day Fathers Day and all the other times the Family got together. Although Uncle Bill was only with us for 5 years, he left us all with a piece of his handy work. We new the day was coming for Aunt Marie to join all the rest in Heaven and its what she wanted, it is still going to be hard not being able to call or stop by and visit. To hear the stories of growing up and the fun times and hard times they had. Sharing Her Faith and Love with all of us, giving us a hug and kiss when needed. I am going to miss You Tanta Maria! Till we meet again! Love Ya Much!! Gene

We bought 447 Gay Street in Longmont, CO from the Hantlemans. They were very kind, and I always remember them when I go by the house. When we lived there, I treasured the lovely roses that Mrs. Hantleman planted; they are still there and thriving, almost 20 years later. God rest her soul, and of Mr.Hantleman also.

We extend our sympathy to Marie's family. We knew Bill and Marie while they were attending Messiah Lutheran Church in Longmont Colorado. We will remember Marie for her kindness and gentleness. One outstanding memory is when we made chicken soup together for a choir progressive dinner. What a delightful person to work with. Gary and Harriet Golter

Greetings and condolences to Bill and Marie's family. I was sorry to hear of Marie's passing, but I know she was ready to be with Bill and her Lord. I knew them all my life, starting when they lived in Iowa. When I moved to Colorado many years later, they were living in Longmont. They were so kind to me, inviting me many times to their beautiful home and treating me to such great meals and music. Marie always had time to listen and share her life wisdom with me for which I was and am so grateful. I wish I could be there at her service on Friday. I will be thinking of you all and keeping you in my prayers.

Dear members of Marie's family, Lyle and I were married in 1964, Bill & Marie were always part of our memories, Peggy met them after they moved back to MN. Her 1st real memory is of a gathering at the Morristown "town hall" they all attended. They brought several black and white photos and negatives of the Schmidtke family in Germany. Peggy was able to develop the negatives and was fascinated with the history they revealed. That began a years' long family genealogy search and meeting many wonderful people. We have them to thank for spurring this continuing interest.
