Service Peace Lutheran Church - Faribault
  Friday, January 3, 2014 at 10:30 a.m.
Visitation: Boldt Funeral Home - Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m.
  And at the church Friday for one hour prior to the service.

Beverly "Bev" Ross, age 76, of Faribault died on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at her home.

Funeral services will be at Peace Lutheran Church, Faribault on Friday, January 3, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend Robert L. Mundahl officiating. Interment will be at Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 2, 2014 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault and also at the church for one hour prior to the services on Friday.

Beverly was born on August 27, 1937 in Northfield to Emanuel D. and Verna B. (Shaw) Eng. She graduated from Faribault High School and Naeve Hospital School of Nursing, Albert Lea. Bev worked most of her nursing career in the operating room at District One Hospital. She married Lyle E. Ross on September 6, 1958 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Faribault. He preceded her in death on September 8, 1999. Bev enjoyed fishing, golfing, wintering in Arizona, crafts, and scrapbooking.

She is survived by two children, Jill (and Jerry) Kes and Joel (and Janelle) Ross all of Faribault; six grandchildren, Jamie (and Nolan) Jindra, Jeffrey (and Becca) Kes, Jason Kes, Jenna Ross, Justine Ross, and Jay Ross; two great grandchildren, Lillian and Hendrik Jindra; three siblings, Sharie (and Paul) Schmitz of Two Harbors, Lowell (and Mary) Eng of Alexis, IL, and Rise (and Tom) Thibodeau of Cannon City; and her beloved dog, Bear.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Lyle.

Memorials are preferred to Peace Lutheran Church or Faribault Area Hospice.

Bev was in our Class of '55 and a sweet girl. I didn't know her in her career years as a nurse, but I wish I had. She must have been a wonderful nurse.
