WALTER E. "WALLY" BOSACKER

 

Walter E. "Wally" Bosacker, age 86, of Faribault, died on Monday, April 20, 2015 at District One Hospital, Faribault.

Memorial services will be at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 2 p.m. with the Reverend David Cross officiating.

A memorial visitation will be at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault for one hour prior to the services on Saturday.

Walter Edwin, the son of Christian and Mabel (Amundson) Bosacker, was born on June 24, 1928 in Faribault. From 1951 to 1952, he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Patricia Hansen on July 1, 1950 in Minneapolis. Wally worked in car sales and advertising. He enjoyed camping with his family, traveling, country music, cross word puzzles, and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Pat of Faribault; three children, Sandy (Tim Sr.) Ostendorf of Minneapolis, Bill Bosacker (and special friend, Kathi Davisson) of Faribault, and Cheryl (Jay) Seliger of Waseca; six grandchildren, Tim Jr. (and Ann), Barry, Chris, Drew (and Jackie), Bret, and Janna (and Ross); and two great grandchildren, Sam and Caleb.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Don Bosacker.
