Services: Faribault Evangelical Free Church on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 10:30 a.m.
Visitation: At the church on Saturday for one hour prior to the services.


Palmer Bulow, age 88, of Faribault, died on Friday, April 17, 2015 at his residence.

Memorial services will be at the Faribault Evangelical Free Church on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend Dan Van Loon and the Reverend Daron Call officiating. Interment will be at Lincoln Township Cemetery, Lake Crystal at a later date.

A memorial visitation will be at the church on Saturday, April 25, 2015 for one hour prior to the services.

Arrangements are being completed by the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault.

Palmer, the son of Emil and Helma (Roemhildt) Bulow, was born on April 10, 1927 in Mankato. He served in the U.S. Navy, the National Guard, and the U.S. Army Reserves. Palmer married Betty Sorensen on June 30, 1967 in Lake Crystal. He was formerly employed at the Faribault Regional Center for over 21 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the U.S. Army Pistol and Rifle Teams of Faribault.

He is survived by his wife, Betty of Faribault; one son, Van (and Shari) Bulow of Faribault; two grandsons, Gage and Nathan Bulow; two sisters, Elda (and Loren) Dubke of North Mankato and Ethel of Missoula, MT; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and eight siblings.

Memorial gifts may be directed to the Faribault Evangelical Free Church building fund.

Palmer Bulow was a very good man and friend with a great soul and our condolences goes out to Betty and siblings. Palmer will now be fishing with the Lord and it doesn't get any better than that. Rest in peace my brother. Ron Roehrick.
