Services: Cathedral of Our Merciful Saviour, Faribault

Visitation: One hour prior to the service at the church
   

Florence M. Clarine, age 96 of Pleasant View Estates, Faribault died on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Pleasant Manor Nursing Home, Faribault.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the Cathedral of Our Merciful Saviour, Faribault with the Reverend Henry L. Doyle and the Very Reverend Justin Chapman officiating. Interment will be at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Faribault.

Visitation will be at church for one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Arrangements are being completed by the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault.

Florence Mae, the daughter of Rueben and Alma (Knutson) Smalley was born on July 22, 1918 in Detroit Lakes. She married Herbert Clarine on July 7, 1941 in Faribault, he preceded her in death on September 22, 1996. Florence attended Fargo Beauty School and was most known for her career at Milady's Beauty Salon. She had ancestry dating back to the American Revolution. Florence believed in working hard and education, she was active in the Cathedral her entire life, and loved her family, home, collections and playing bridge.

She is survived by her son, Jeffrey (and Judy) Clarine of Faribault; six grandchildren, Justin (and April) Clarine of Otsego, Jonathan (and Kym) Clarine of Marietta, GA, Jeffrey (and Lauren) Clarine of San Diego, CA and Chris Ameling of Iowa City, IA; 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Sandra McDonough; grandchildren, Tim McDonough and Sean McDonough; brother, Robert Smalley and sister, Ethel Smalley.
