Services: Trinity Lutheran Church ~ Faribault on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 10:30 a.m.
Visitation: At the church on Wednesday for one hour prior to the services.
   
   

Alice M. Gerzevske, age 94, of Faribault, died on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Pleasant Manor, Faribault.

Funeral services will be at Trinity Lutheran Church, Faribault on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend Dr. Michael J. Nirva, officiating. Interment will be at Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault.

Visitation will be at church for one hour prior to the services on Wednesday.

Arrangements are being completed by the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault.

Alice M., the daughter of Carl and Lena (Piepho) Ihlow, was born on October 31, 1920 in Nerstrand. She married Erich Gerzevske on November 20, 1941 in Faribault. Erich preceded her in death on March 5, 1992. She was formerly employed at St. Lucas Hospital and Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf. Alice was very active in various committees at Trinity Lutheran Church, Faribault.

She is survived by five children, Bernard (and Beverly) Gerzevske of Rochester, Marie Gerzevske (and special friend, John Galloway) of Houston, TX, Luverne Gerzevske of Glenwood, IA, Janet (and Larry) Gieseke of Arlington and Linda (and Don) Ackman of Shoreview; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; one daughter in law, Janice Gerzevske of Warrenville, IL; one son in law, Donald Malter, Jr. of Metairie, LA; two brothers, Edmund Ihlow of Faribault and Gerald (and Phyllis) Ihlow of Henderson, NV; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Erich; two daughters, Phyllis Gerzevske and Dorothy Malter; one son Harland Gerzevske; and one daughter-in-law, Barbara Gerzevske.
