Warren L. Olsen, age 87, of Morristown, died on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Seasons Hospice House, Rochester.

Memorial services will be at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 11 a.m. with a memorial visitation at the funeral home from 9:30 to 11 a.m. prior to the services on Saturday.

Warren L., the son of William and Elizabeth (Bisch) Olsen, was born on March 24, 1928 in Worthington. He moved to Albert Lea when he was two years old. Warren graduated from the School of Agriculture at the University of Minnesota, St. Paul Campus in 1946. He served in the Korean Conflict from 1950 to 1952. He married Betty LeAnn Oppedahl on February 16, 1951 in Albert Lea. Warren was employed at the Owatonna Canning Company until 1989. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, rock hunting, knapping, gun repair, picture framing, jewelry making, and woodworking.

He is survived by four children, Marilynn (and Michael Contardo) Olsen of Sartell, Mark (and Maria) Olsen of Rochester, William (and Patricia O'Brien) Olsen of Califon, NJ, and Bonnie Olsen Lee of Chugiak, AK; 11 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one sister, Jean Coshun of Waukesha, WI; one brother, Ralph Olsen of Owatonna; one brother-in-law, Herbert Sackett; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty; sisters, Donna Silberman and Arlowyne Sackett; brother, Dennis Olsen; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Olsen and Marjorie Olsen; and brothers-in-law, Don Coshun and Morton Silberman.

Memorial gifts may be directed to Camp Omega, Seasons Hospice House, Rochester, or donor's choice.
