Services: The Boldt Funeral Home ~ Faribault on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 10:30 a.m.
Visitation: The Boldt Funeral Home ~ Faribault for one hour prior to the services on Friday.
   
   

 

Maxine Schoonmaker, age 97, of Faribault, died on Monday, March 16, 2015 at St. Lucas Care Center, Faribault.

A memorial service will be at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend Henry L. Doyle officiating. Interment will be at St. John Cemetery, Owatonna.

Memorial visitation will be at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault for one hour prior to the service.

Maxine Irene, the daughter of John and Edna (Pendlebury) Dannewitz, was born on June 4, 1917 in Ruthven, IA. She graduated from Emmetsburg, IA High School. She married Ira Glenn Schoonmaker on October 24, 1936, and he preceded her in death on June 7, 2005.

She is survived by three children, Darlene (and John) Johnson of Lyle, Glenda Marlar of Faribault, and Danna (and Johnnie) Reese of Zumbro Falls; nine grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; and one brother, Dean (and Mary Ann) Dannewitz of Summerfield, FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ira Glenn; five siblings; one daughter, Janice Olson; three sons in law, James Fickbohm, Richard "Rick" Marlar, and Sam McNiel; one granddaughter; and two great grandchildren.
