Janet M. Speikers, age 77, of Kenyon, died on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Regions Medical Center, St. Paul.

Funeral services will be at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend Ashley Osborn, pastor of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Franklin, NH in the spring.

Visitation will be at the Boldt Funeral Home on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 3 to 7 p.m. and also for one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Janet M., the daughter of Conrad and Loretta (Lasonde) Daigneault, was born on November 14, 1937 in New Port, NH. She married Andrew J. Speikers on April 19, 1958 in Penacook, NH. Janet was an LPN and worked at Pleasant Manor Nursing Home, Faribault for 17 years, and later in nursing homes in New Hampshire and in private homes. Janet enjoyed nature, animals, traveling, shopping and antiquing at interesting places and most of all she loved holidays and family gatherings.

She is survived by her husband, Andrew of Kenyon; seven children, Mike (and LuAnn) Speikers of Sanbornton, NH, Jim (and Sharon) Speikers of Mountain Lake, Theresa (and Todd) Vold of Faribault, Pat (and Sandra) Speikers of Franklin, NH, John (and Sheri) Speikers of Center Barnstead, NH, Peter Speikers of Tempe, AZ and Jennifer Speikers of Red Wing; 18 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; one sister Lorraine (and John) Ouellette of Hooksett, NH; one brother in law, David Miller of Sunapee, NH; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, David in 1984; and two sisters, Mary Miller and Paulene Daigneault.

My memory about Jan is how happy she was when she was surrounded by her children. You could see they were her joy and they all made her proud. I loved her quick wit and she even beat me on getting in the last comment. Jan would be sure to let you know her opinion and I admired her for that. She had spunk and how wonderful is that. A persons life is to great to be summed up in a short message but how people felt about her can LOVED!
