Ruth W. Trench
Ruth W. Trench, age 99, of Faribault, died on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at St. Lucas Care Center, Faribault.
Funeral services will be at Trinity Lutheran Church, Faribault on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with the Reverend Dr. Michael J. Nirva, officiating. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Faribault.
Visitation will be at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. and also at the church for one hour prior to the services on Wednesday.
Ruth W., the daughter of Gustav and Bertha (Schwichtenberg) Schultz, was born on October 16, 1915 in Faribault. She married Martin W. Trench on October 17, 1933 in Faribault. Ruth was employed at Faribault Woolen Mill Company for 26 years. She enjoyed baking and was a member of the Lutheran Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by three children, LaVon Lenox of Rochester, Robert (and Kay) Trench of Faribault, and Eugene (and Pat) Trench of Faribault; 10 grandchildren, Deborah (and Charles) Rhoten, Keith (and Julie) Lenox, Cheryl (and Phillip) Nelson, Lauri (and Jim) Paul, Krista (and Ryan) Gannon, Terri (and Jonathon) Lindahl, Michael Trench (and special friend, Yvonne MacDonald Hames), Susan (and Tom) Baum, Nancy (and Joe) Serdar, and David Trench (and special friend, Missy Clark); 25 great grandchildren; 15 great great grandchildren; and two sisters in law, Nellie Schultz and Blanche Schultz, both of Faribault.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Martin; one granddaughter, Ann Trench Marino; and seven siblings, Lydia Mager, Erna Mills, Freda Hanson, Martin Schultz, Richard Schultz, Edwin Schultz, and Paul Schultz.

I loved talking to your mother on my visits to see my mother Leona Silbernagle at the Sterling House. She had the sweetest smile.

my memories was when she lived at inn town house and shared a room with my mom Fern Johnson. I would come and do activities with residents and when we played euchre she was always my partner. Sweet woman.
