Memories

Lori, I was so moved by your strength as you gave Darrell's eulogy. How ironic that two people that I knew found each other and made a wonderful life together. I was so surprised and happy for you both when I ran into you at that concert in Lydia. I was very sorry that I never got a chance to reconnect with you both. I always appreciated Darrell's honesty. He was always very straight forward when he talked to you. A very rare trait. I will miss him. Everyone who knew Darrell knows they lost a good friend. I would like you to know that we are there for you if you every need us. Our thoughts are with you Dave and Peggy De Voto

Memories

I have known Darrell since I was a kid, he worked for my dad for many years. Later, when I was in college, I lived with him and my boyfriend, Doug. A lot of great memories, a lot of fun times and laughter. When I left Minnesota and moved to Heron, Montana we drove my car, towing his motorcycle so he could ride it back to MN. He was a great guy, a sweetheart and will be missed by many. My entire family is saddened by his passing and give our deepest sympathy to Lori and his family.

Memories

Lori & Family, so very sorry for your loss. I just read the message from Highview Christiania regarding your service and it made me smile when I saw that you're including a military salute. Darrel would be so proud ... he always had a big smile when he'd bring his military uniform (U S Marines) in for display at our veteran's worship service in November. Such a wonderful man, a terrible loss to everyone & especially to you, his family & friends. Prayers for comfort during this very sad time. I know you will treasure all of your wonderful memories for your lifetime.
